https://doi.org/10.26794/2226-7867-2025-15-4-139-146

Abstract

The article is devoted to a comparative study of the ideological and organizational work of parliamentary opposition political parties with the youth electorate.

Despite the fact that the degree of opposition of the younger generation has decreased significantly in recent years, nevertheless, this social stratum is still largely “rebellious” and only “relatively systemic.” Also, the current generation of ”Generation Z” will soon enter the period of professional and career maturity and will become the “core” of the national electorate. Realizing this, Russian political parties begin to build a dialogue with young people in advance, involve them in their projects, and improve their ideological and ideological positions, taking into account the request of the “young growth”.

Although the majority of socially active youth support the «United Russia» Party and other pro-government organizations, opposition parliamentary parties also seek to gain at least partial support from the youth audience. However, so far they have not been very successful due to a number of reasons.
