Отмечается, что практика обучения иноязычному произношению должна осуществляться во взаимосвязи с обучением всем видам речевой деятельности на иностранном языке. Акцентируется внимание на главных принципах коммуникативно ориентированного подхода при обучении произношению. Выделяются характерные особенности общеамериканского произношения, освоение которых представляется наиболее актуальным для студентов финансово-экономического профиля.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The presented article actualizes the topic of teaching the General American pronunciation to students of a financial and economic profile. It is noted that the practice of teaching foreign pronunciation should be carried out in conjunction with teaching all types of speaking activity in a foreign language. Attention is focused on the main principles of a communicative language teaching approach in teaching pronunciation.
