Однако, если геймификация полезна для высшей школы, мы должны детально проанализировать, что она из себя представляет и как функционирует. В данной статье рассматриваются важные вопросы: какие существуют потенциальные преимущества и «подводные камни» геймификации?</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Modern educational institutions face serious problems related to the motivation and involvement of students. Gamification or inclusion of game elements in non-game settings allows educational institutions to solve these complex problems. However, if gamification should be useful fo r higher education, we must analyse in more details what gamification is, how it functions and why it can be helpful. This article addresses three key questions, what, how, and why bother, in the study of both potential benefits and pitfalls of gamification.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>геймификация</kwd><kwd>образование</kwd><kwd>мотивация</kwd><kwd>вознаграждение</kwd><kwd>цифровизация</kwd><kwd>технологии</kwd><kwd>игровая механика</kwd><kwd>высшая школа</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>“gamification”</kwd><kwd>education</kwd><kwd>motivation</kwd><kwd>reward</kwd><kwd>digitalisation</kwd><kwd>technology</kwd><kwd>game mechanics</kwd><kwd>higher school</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Klopfer E., Osterweil S., Salen, K.
