Выборы Президента РФ, прошедшие 18 марта 2018 г., показали рост электоральной активности среди молодого поколения избирателей. Данное обстоятельство подвигает пересмотреть существующие представления о выраженном абсентеизме российской молодежи, отсутствии сформированной модели поведения электорального участия и общем неприятии политики. Автор рассматривает общественно-политические и технологические факторы, повлиявшие на повышение электорального участия российской молодежи.

Election of the President of the Russian Federation held 18 March 2018, showed an increase in electoral activity among the younger generation of voters. This circumstance prompts to reconsider the existing ideas about the expressed absenteeism of the Russian youth, the absence of the formed pattern of behaviour of electoral participation and the general rejection of politics. The author examines the socio-political and technological factors that influenced the increase in the electoral participation of Russian youth.
