Современные университеты разрабатывают и реализуют стратегии, которые позволяют им стать значимыми игроками на мировом рынке образования, а правительства многих стран, также заинтересованные в продвижении имиджа национального образования и университетов, в свою очередь, разрабатывают программы поддержки данных инициатив. В статье анализируется мировой опыт университетов и национальных систем высшего образования по повышению престижа и конкурентоспособности на глобальном рынке образования, определяются основные типы стратегий, благодаря которым многие страны смогли достичь прорывных результатов на мировой образовательной арене.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Globalization, competition, search for new sources of funding have long been a reality not only for business but also for such a socially important sphere as education. Modern universities develop and implement strategies that allow them to become significant players in the global education market, and the governments of many countries, which are also interested in promoting the image of national education and universities, in turn, are developing programs to support these initiatives.
